This project gave us each a site on Venice Beach. With mine, I took an urbanistic approach in assembling my main structures, as well as developed follies that originated from my Campo Marzio fragments (P1 from beginning of the semester). My main structures service an aromatherapy company; my first structure is a walk-through experience with the aromas, my second structure is the corresponding shop, and my third structure is a hut where people can use their bought products. A big part of my project was assigning order to my seemingly random objects by means of a grid-system and axial connections. I have one, big reigning roof over my structures that does not interact with them, or with the site, but is rather completely autonomous and more of a gesture, again, towards this this axial hierarchy.
