Uplifted

This project aims to consolidate and densify with a goal of preservation and efficiency. The massing is derived with the intention of limiting the size of the footprint on the site. The programs are stacked on top of each other with natural and efficient circulation pathways to stitch together the north and south end of the park through the building. The main structure is an exposed heavy timber system. In order to further lessen the visual impact of the project on site, the entire project is wrapped with a suspended facade screen that acts also as solar thermal control. The suspended facade coupled with the glass curtain wall on the ground floor allows the entire project to be uplifted.
