The Dunes

The Dunes are set in a dystopian world of simulated reality, a dying planet, and a group of insurgents preparing to throw everything into disarray. The booleaned massing becomes home to a hip hop street performance; rappers, dancers and graffiti artists performing simultaneously as spontaneous crowds converge on notable performances. The first Hip-Hop movement was entrenched in ideals of protest and freedom, similarly the performances here are in response to the new regime of the year 2093. The Dunes facilitate a type of guerilla performance in which performers can set up and compete with other performers in rap/dance battles to gain the biggest audience.
