This project aims to enhance the quality of recreational spaces in the community of Leimert Park. By extending the landscape onto the roof and allowing access from all sides, the structure features a welcoming gesture and suggests the continuity of nature and community into the building. The facade system takes the need of natural lighting into consideration, in which the density of glazing decreases gradually from top to bottom. By eliminating the floor separation, the skin patterns further integrates the building geometry.
