This project explores the manipulation of stick system in order to frame market specialities as well as provide privacy for visitors. The client is a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and wishes to provide an intimate space for elderly and visitors in his office while having program for extended family and children through the market place and park. The site of a cliff was chosen because it provides the client and challenges the idea of what traditionally constitutes stable earthen foundations and suits the clients particularity of dried sea ingredients.
