Fragmented Fashion

For my project, I wanted to turn the traditional runway into a more audience-friendly and interactive space to make fashion seem more accessible to the everyday person and to create a more personal experience with the models on the runway. The whole structure has a duality between solid and void. There is a fragmented, transparent system that you can see from the transition from outside to in – the opacity changes as you journey around and in the show. Overall my project creates a new version of the traditional fashion show by exploring opacity by layering the framed seating, runway pixelation and open center area together and the changing user experience as you go through, up and around the site.
