Our project is an exploration of designing for different durations of an experience that one has while traversing through each space. We contrast a curvilinear geometry that is meant for an extended duration of an experience and an orthogonal language that is representing a shortened duration of experience. Together, the two projects are connected in a way that forces an occupant residing in the compact structure to traverse through the winding paths of the neighboring structure in order to access a shared courtyard in the back of the site.
