Club Oke is a karaoke club which allows for intimate singing and dancing experiences as well as as open interactions and gathering. This combination challenges the users role as audience or performer as the space both invites you to perform with others in the open for all to see, and privately dance and sing with your friends hidden from view. This project was developed using influences from an initial study on the architectural environment to inform design choices. Studying light, as well as the line vs. the curve, the project began with simple translations from video : 2D : 3D and then back, beginning to develop spatial understanding.
