The overall layout of the site and structure is based on a geometric grid and orthogonal grid. I explored combining these two opposite grids in order to make a work-live environment for my client a workaholic pastry chef. I believe that he choose this site among a city site or within a commercial building because of the views and being in nature. In order to represent this, I used the geometric grid for the exterior and landscape to correlate with its nature surroundings. The pastry chef is also very organized and precise which is why I used the formal orthogonal grid for the interior spaces.
