A Walk in Leimert Park

My project seeks to provide affordable housing and small storefronts for the vending community of Leimert park, while maintaining adaptability in what unit sizes are provided to support any changes in the demographic of the neighborhood that may occur in the future.

It does this by providing individual storefronts for vendors to use on the ground floor which can be opened whenever they choose. As a co-op, the profits of this space are then expected to be partially used to help fund the maintenance of the building. Additionally, I am providing this community with small units of 1,2,3, or 4 person sized occupancies, which are configured in a way that is easily remodelable
