3 Weave Community

A chef’s home, workspace, and market formed from a system of weaves, together establishing connections and space throughout the site. The plane weave represents the iconography of a chef from sourcing products, sleeping, cooking, and eating- all programs established on one weaving table-like structure. The volume weave brings structure and form to the site while the stick weave invites directionality and a shade-providing garden system. The relationships between the weaves- rather than the weaves themselves- establish connections made between people and programs in different areas of the site. Therefore creating a seamless work-live site and open community.
