The Order of Growth

This project looks at the physical environmental forces that affect the interior order and the exterior architectural form. Beginning with the site as an initial framework, the external shell grows in response to levels of noise pollution, privacy, and views. The internal order develops in response to the programmatic needs of the project and interaction with the environment. Collectively, this project shows how architecture is shaped by the external forces of the urban context, the internal order of the program and the commonality of the two.
