The United American Indian Involvement (UAII) Innovation Center and Co-working Space creates an environment that engages and enhances the urban Native American community of the Los Angeles area by exploring the vibrant relationship between the man-made natural environment and the city fabric hardscape. The many terraces featured throughout the building creates a visual relationship to the large sloping park on the ground level which is a physical connector to the bridge. These types of visual and physical relationships create a unique dynamic between “man-made” natural environmental features and the hardscape city fabric.
