As I looked to the creation of spaces for the future, the focus of this project was on the user’s experience and creating hybrid, flexible mixed-use spaces that have the adaptability to different circumstances. From my perspective, the future of coworking space should be flexible, where the boundaries of one activity end and another begins are blurred, playful, where unexpected, accidental events happen and the users are able to write their own narratives, and providing greater work-life balance.

Therefore, I created a series of modular spaces and redefined the boundaries. The “accidental” space is flexible with blurred boundaries and can be used for multiple functions and the “deliberate” space has a clear function and fixed physical boundaries.
