Keeping in mind to design a co-working space which is more than just a place of work, there has been an integration of urban farm in this project. Co-working spaces engage collaboration of knowledge and interaction. Integrating these spaces with a concept like an urban farm brings awareness to a diverse group of people about the importance of growing and consumption of locally sourced food. In this project, the urban farm is linear in nature and its design is symbolic of the LA river which runs parallel to the site. It acts as a green spine of the building, from which all the different programs physically project out from and also from which the primary circulation runs along. It is in a way, an element between the two parallels.
