ARCH 705: Advanced Graduate Architecture Design Gallery: A Mixed-use "COVID Resistant" Outpatient Clinic, Elderly Care Center and 55+ Homeless Housing

Mixed-use “COVID Resistant” Outpatient Clinic, Elderly Care Center, and 55+ Homeless Housing

This architectural design is based on the integration of outpatient buildings, nursing homes and homes for the homeless into the local community, and combining with the local favorable environmental factors to create a good living and working environment for the people.
In the architectural design of the site, I make full use of the surrounding environment and sight conditions and borrow the surrounding environment into our site. In addition, considering that outdoor activities can effectively help people resist COVID-19, the large central garden in the site can not only improve the outdoor landscape of the buildings, but also help people spend the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the interior of the buildings, some designs to prevent the spread of covid-19 virus and improve medical efficiency are also worth to be considered.
