Lattice Space

The project is designed for singles and young couples interested in sharing living space. The building form starts as a series of repetitive bars that are arranged according to X-Y axes and stacked one on top of another, forming a three-dimensional lattice of dwelling units and open spaces. Programmatically, the combination of bars results in three types of units and shared spaces. Various combinations create a contrasting and complementary space between the bars, and combined with an undulating roof form serve to give a distinctive identity to the shared and private spaces.
