The project required us to introduce a “Native Landscape” fabric into Crocker Plaza on USC Campus. The source material chosen was the La Jolla Beach of San Diego. The different layers of the landscape visible – trees, Cliif, Rocks, and water feature – were translated to create pads and outdoor seating arrangement such that it fits practically and conceptually within the university’s existing texture and context.
