Acequia, Albarrada, as Urban Acupuncture

I researched acequia(New Mexico, 1598CE) and albarrada(Ecuador, 2000BCE). I found that the systems both contained water management principles: for water sharing, growing crops, and replenishing the aquifer. I was interested in how the circular-shaped system could recharge urban aquifer by storing, filtering, and infiltrating water. I chose to explore the recharge system to be contemporized for recreational use and proposed a series of acupuncture interventions in LA urban areas.
